These terms and conditions form the basis on which you can visit us and our website and purchase from us. Please read them carefully as they contain important information.

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Stellar Lighting Ltd.

Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without our permission.

You may not modify anything on this website, or distribute or repost anything from this website without permission for any purpose other than your own personal, non-commercial use.


1.1 At Stellar Lighting, we sell ready made products (“ready made”) and products made to a customer’s own requirements (“made to order”).  The terms covering these types of sale differ, and can be found below.

1.2 All Stellar Lighting products are produced to the European and British quality and safety standard specification and comply with current legislation. Measurements and wattages are given as a guide and may vary, please check the product literature supplied with your Stellar Lighting product.  Alternatively, please ask us for details.Please note that any weights, dimensions and capacities given about the Stellar Lighting Panel are approximate only.



2.1 Products that do not clearly state that they are made to order on the product page on the Stellar Lighting website can be taken to be “ready made”.

2.2 Images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Your goods may vary slightly from the image shown on the website and will not include any of the pictured accessories, unless stated in the specification of the goods. Whilst goods may be shown assembled they may require assembly by you.

2.3 You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your cart. Items you do not wish to purchase can be removed from your cart at any time.

2.4 Delivery charges will be shown prior to you placing your order.

2.5 You will be required to pay for your Stellar Lighting ready made product in full at the time of ordering.

2.6 If for any reason, you are not delighted with your purchase of a Stellar Lighting ready made product, you may decide to return it within 14 days of delivery, at your own expense.  Please return goods in the original packaging. We will refund your payment within 14 days of us receiving your goods back. A deduction to the value of your refund may be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary.



3.1 All starlight ceiling panels are made to order, including those which are of a standard design shown on the Stellar Lighting website.  Certain other products may also be made to order. Where products are made to order this will clearly be indicated on the product page.

3.2 Products which are a standard size and design can be ordered through our webshop.  

3.3 For products which require a custom design (including, but not necessarily limited to, starlight ceiling panels with LED lights), the product page on the Stellar Lighting website will direct you to contact us, either by phone, by email or via the webshop.  We will work with you to agree a design that meets your specification and provide a quotation. Price quotations are valid for twenty (20) days.

3.4 Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering, with the exception of custom design LED starlight ceiling panels.  For LED starlight ceiling panels, you can place your order by confirming via email that you accept the Purchase Price and paying sixty percent (60%) of it in advance (the "Advance Payment"). When you confirm acceptance of the Purchase Price we will provide you with all details necessary to proceed with the Advance Payment.

3.5 Receipt of a full or Advance Payment indicates that you wish to proceed with the order.  We will confirm via email the acceptance of your order, and hence the agreement between us.

3.6 In the unlikely situation that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced a product, or we are no longer able to supply a particular Stellar Lighting product for any reason, the amount of your payment (whether a full payment or Advance Payment) will be refunded as soon as possible.  

3.7 Where an Advance Payment is made, the outstanding forty percent (40%) of the Purchase Price shall be paid within seven (7) days of the delivery of your Stellar Lighting made-to-order product

3.8 Manufacturing of your made-to-order Stellar Lighting product starts twenty four (24) hours after we have received your full or Advance Payment.  As made-to-order Stellar Lighting products are made to your specifications, please note that you have only a twenty-four (24) hour period of time to cancel your order after your full or Advance Payment has been received. If you cancel your order later than twenty four (24) hours after making your full or Advance Payment, you may lose your full or Advance Payment.

3.9 During the manufacturing procedure, alterations will be limited and subject to our sole discretion.

3.10 Manufacturing times vary depending on the type of product.  Estimated manufacturing times for each product are shown on the product’s details page on the Stellar Lighting website.  These are indicative only: completion times vary depending on the general demand levels and availability of product components.  If there is likely to be a delay, you will be informed as soon as possible.



4.1 All prices quoted on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP).  Prices are valid at the time of ordering. Prices quoted on our website are subject to change without notice.

4.2 VAT is not applicable on Stellar Lighting goods.

4.3 At Stellar Lighting, we accept payment via bank transfer or via Visa, Mastercard and American Express.  We use secure payment facilities for online purchases.



5.1 Where delivery charges apply, these will be clearly stated at the point of payment.

5.2 Small items will be posted using Royal Mail first class delivery.   The product page indicates which products are delivered by Royal Mail.  Please check the goods on delivery. If you receive goods from us that are damaged upon delivery or have a manufacturer’s fault, you must email us, within two days of delivery, at info@stellarlighting.co.uk to notify us of any damage, quoting your order number and stating the nature of the damage.

5.3 Larger items, including (but not necessarily limited to) starlight ceiling panels will be delivered by a private courier firm; the product page indicates which products are delivered by courier.  The courier will contact you in advance to arrange delivery. If there is no one to accept the order on the scheduled delivery date, the goods may be returned to the factory and we reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge.  Please check the goods on delivery and notify the courier of any goods found to be damaged. Regrettably, the courier used for fibre optic star ceilings does not deliver to addresses with postcodes starting BT, IM, HS or KW. The couriers used for LED star panels cover most of mainland UK though areas such as the far South West of England, the Highlands of Scotland, remote areas of Wales and Northern Ireland cannot be covered. If you live within one of these areas and would like one of our larger items, please contact us before ordering your panel and we will obtain a delivery quote for your address.  In the event that an order has been placed and you do not wish to proceed with the order once the delivery quote is in place, we will refund any payment that you have made to us.

5.4 We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order.

5.5 Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility.

5.6 Anticipated delivery times given are our best estimates but may be subject to change.

5.7 Deliveries are made to a ground floor entrance only and on the condition that there is reasonable access for the safe and prompt delivery of the goods.

5.8 Starlight ceiling panels only: Please note that delivery must take place within thirty (30) days of when you have been notified that your Stellar Lighting Panel is ready. Otherwise your order might be subject to additional delivery and storage charges on the top of the sum outstanding from the Purchase Price. You will be informed about this in due time before the expiration of the thirty (30) days' period of time.



6.1 We abide by the Consumer Contracts Regulations (which replaced the Distance Selling Regulations).



7.1 Warranty details for Stellar Lighting products are shown on the product pages of our website.

7.2 If your Stellar Lighting product has become compromised as a result of misuse, any warranty is void.

7.3 In case of fault within the warranty period, your Stellar Lighting product will be repaired or replaced dependent upon the nature of the fault. Your statutory rights are not affected.

7.4 Please note that you have a statutory duty to take reasonable care to ensure that your Stellar Lighting product is used in accordance with its purpose. If reasonable care is not exercised, we may make a claim against you for not exercising this statutory duty.



8.1 We are only responsible for losses that are a natural, foreseeable consequence of our breach of these terms and conditions.  We do not accept liability if we are prevented or delayed from complying with our obligations set out in these terms and conditions by anything you (or anyone acting with your express or implied authority) does or fails to do, or that is due to events which are beyond our reasonable control.

8.2 Furthermore, we do not accept liability for any losses related to any business of yours including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, lost revenues or business interruption.

8.3 You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase Stellar Lighting products.

10.1 We try to ensure that our website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it will not cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available to use the website. Except in the case of negligence on our part, we will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.

14.1 This website, any content contained therein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are concluded in English.
